So this is Christmas
So the 23rd was decent most of the day, which I had to work. But then Joe, Heather, Joe's sis Becca and thier accquaintance (sp?) Jennifer and I all went to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert. I was so excited and the show definately exceeded my expectations. It was amazing! They really went all out this year and did the best show ever. If you have never seen TSO, I HIGHLY reccommend going to see them next year. After that Heather, Joe and I all came back to my house and we exchanged presents. I got a Harley Quinn Barbie, which I love and is enjoying her perch on my computer tower. Now I need to get Poison Ivy Barbie so the pair can be together. They also got me a magic 8 ball, which is awesome because I have been needing a new one! It's been on my desk and answering many questions for me.
Christmas Eve was presents with the family, since we wouldn't be able to be together for Christmas Eve night or morning. Opening presents with the family was one of the best ever, everyone was so happy and fun. Mom's big present was definately the highlight for me. It was quite funny, when she was opening the big box and digging through all the tissue paper. Then when she found the little box and opened it, she said "It's good that this is a jewelry box" with such a funny expression. And when she saw the necklace, I was tearing up so bad and she was crying and I had to stop my videotaping to go give her a hug and for us to wipe our eyes. She was so surprised and happy, I loved it.
The rest of that day I had to work. Oh, but Jessie got me Rescue Rangers on dvd, and I was so surprised! She and I have been working our way through the three disks and absolutely loving them. It makes me feel like a kid again watching that theme song and remembering when she and I would run for the tv whenever we heard it.
Christmas day was uneventful, as the family had already done all our Christmas stuff. So I slept in (a first for Christmas day) and sat around the house. I read a whole novel, watched tv, got on the computer, played with some of my presents, etc. You get the picture. I was bored. But everything made up for my non-Christmas day.
And now for something that has absolutely nothing to do with Christmas: A quote from Mikey.
Mikey: You say po-tay-to, I say po-tah-to. You say x-box 360, I say piece of crap.
Well, I certainly thought it was funny. Maybe you had to be there.
