Yes, I'm Still Alive
So let's face it. I basically didn't post for a whole month except for fillers. Well, what can I say. 1) I'm lazy. 2) I was out of the country for a week. So that makes three weeks of laziness.... Well, and I just didn't want to update. I knew that when I updated I would probably have to type about my week in the Bahamas, and let's face it, I just didn't want to do it. I still don't want to do it. If you wanna know the details of my week that bad, comment and let me know and I'll, uh, think about typing it up.
But pretty much, there wasn't really much else to blog. There's school, work (which I still absolutely hate and have to force myself NOT to quit), friends and American Idol. That's how my days are spent.
Today I spent my money that I really shouldn't be spending on dvds that are not necessary but I really really wanted. I bought two SNL dvds (David Spade and Dan Ackroyd) and Trading Places, one of my favorite movies. Can you tell I love Dan Ackroyd? Now I just have to force myself to call up one of my estranged friends and demand my Steve Martin SNL dvd back. *sigh* I really don't want to do that. But dammit, I want my dvd back! A little help here on how to do it nicely?
My brother's birthday is in a few days. He is going to be 14. God, that makes me feel old. I think back to when I was fourteen and how long ago it was, and how far I've come since then. Now I just really need to focus on what to get him. He's so hard to buy for.
And speaking of birthdays, mine is coming up in a month and a half. I'll be turning 20 on the 20th. Because of this reason, I really want to do something special! Badly! But I can't think of anything. I don't really want to have a traditional party, and the thought of going out to dinner doesn't thrill me. I would like to do some sort of group outing, but I don't know what. And if you're maybe kinda sorta possibly wanting to get me a present, and don't know what to get me, I will post something later, closer to my birthday about ideas.
Edit - So I was just glancing through my previous posts and saw some stuff I could comment on for February. Jessie had her birthday and it was much fun, spent the day with her and her friends, went to dinner and such. Valentines day, which was blah as usual, bought myself discounted candy the next day.
Dammit, now I forgot what else. Oh well.
