I'm A Material Girl

It's a known fact that I like stuff, not money. That being said, for the last couple days I spent a lot of my money on stuff. Jessie and I went out shopping Thursday and I bought a tart burner and some tarts for it. (For those who don't know, it's like a candle thingy but it heats the wax from below...) Then I bought the soundtrack to Saw, which is awesome! It's all worth it for one song, the one from the end when you find out the twist... Can't say more for people who haven't seen it. Then I bought the movie SawII at Borders, which I will watch later today.

We then left the mall and went to Wal-Mart where I bought some recordable cds, a cd player, and a new PC game. It's called And Then There Were None, it's based off one of my favorite books of the same name by Agatha Christie. Pretty good so far in the story, and the graphics are beautiful. Got home and found out the cd player won't work. It's like the story of all my technology! Grr. So yesterday we went back to Wal-Mart and returned it.

Oh, but before we went to Wal-Mart yesterday, we stopped in a pet store so we could both pick up a couple things, and then we went to Best Buy where I bought a new pair of computer speakers. Then Wal-Mart, where I tried on eleven articles of clothing and ended up only buying a package of underwear. Then home where Jess tried to hook up my new speakers, only to find out that they work fine, it's just that MY DAMN COMPUTER WON'T WORK WITH THEM. So we've got to have Mike look at it and find out what the hell, cause with my old speakers I could hear things, it just had static all the time. But with these new ones, absolutely nothing comes out. It's so frustrating!
