Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! It's...

a post! (What did you think it would be? Superman? Don't be ridiculous, he won't appear for a couple more weeks.) Anywho, yes. It's a post. I know I haven't been updating a lot recently. I don't know. Does anyone besides my sister read this? Not that I'm complaining, I love my blog, but sometimes I wonder at the point of it.

Well, right now I'm sitting here, bored and awake too early for a day I am off (9:30 am). I figured I would clean my room to pass some time, because my Uncle Mike is coming over and I want it to look good just in case mom decides to give him a tour (again). But all I had to do was make my bed and straighten my pile of shoes. Then came the sudden realization that - wait, didn't I clean my room a couple days ago? Yup. And it's still clean. Everything dusted and straightened and lookin' pretty. So I hopped on my computer, checked all my webcomics, mail, and other peoples blogs. Now I'm bored.

Yesterday I practiced my parellel parking (finally). After mom picked me up from work we drove down to an empty school lot so that I could practice. She got out of the car after telling me the basics and stood where the bumper of the car in front of me should be. After three times, I had pretty much gotten the hang of it. Not perfect yet, but what do you expect?

Tomorrow is Phantom of the Opera! I'm so excited. I get off work early and I gotta come home and shower and get ready and then we'll be off! I think we have pretty good seats too - middle balcony. It would probably be best if we had lower balcony, but it was hard to find three seats together on the ticket site (stupid site). Oh well. I'd rather be up there than in the lower seats. (My sis told me that they really do crash the chandelier and that would totally freak me out) But the seats are pretty much in the middle, I believe, which is good.

Reasons why we love working with David:
David: My biological clock is way off today.
Me: You mean you're having the urge to have children before it's too late?
David: (pause) Well, that's not exactly the outcome I was looking for, but ok.
(We both laugh)
David: No seriously, it feels like a Sunday.

Oh man, maybe you had to be there, but it was so funny yesterday at work when that happened. I absolutely love some of my coworkers. David is one of them, we joke around so much. I wish I had a tape recorder with me when we're working together because we have the funniest conversations.

Oh! Did I mention (no) that Jessie and I got Are You Afraid of the Dark? For those who don't know what that is, it was a kid's tv program that ran on Nickelodeon way back in the nineties. The show featured a group of kids around a campfire called The Midnight Society and they would take turns telling spooky or weird stories. Great show. My sister and I were hooked on it when we were kids. Naturally it ended (after seven seasons though!) and we never saw or heard of it again. For awhile now, since everything has started coming out on dvd, we've been looking for it. Jessie found it on a site called Limited Classics. It was all seven seasons (99 episodes) for only 44 bucks. Oh baby, we snapped that up. It's not fancy but it's all there and in good condition. So far we've watched three or four of the eleven disks. Great stuff.

Also recently I've been watching a lot of my Batman cartoons. The animated series one (the only true one! ahem.) But I was bored, and when I just want something short to watch I pop a random disk in and just enjoy. That is truly the best Batman ever. And while I was watching it, I saw this one part with the Joker that I just HAD to have a picture of. Much searching on the net and I found it. The scene in the cartoon is basically one of the Joker's goons asks him a stupid question and this is the face Joker gets:

How can you not laugh at that?
